Tyrone Founders Day 5K Supports Local Community!

The Rotary Club of Tyrone recently held the Tyrone Founders Day 5K - with more than 150 participants.

A huge thank you to the Rotary Club of Peachtree City for being a Platinum Sponsor and for help with the timing and coordination of the finish line from Rotarians George Martin, Charles Felix, Jim Mothorpe, Fernando Duenas, and Mike Lardie. Also, thank you to Janette Norris for participating in the 5K and then jumping in to help her fellow Rotarians at the finish line. Your willingness to help fellow Rotary clubs as we all continue to do good in our communities is inspiring.

Families in the community came out to have fun participating in the race. And the best part? All money raised goes directly toward community service projects right here in our area.
