Congratulations to 2026-2027 Competitive Grant Recipients!

Rotary District 6900 is proud to announce the recipients of this year's Competitive Grant Awards, investing $41,500 in seven innovative service projects that will improve lives, strengthen communities, and promote Rotary's mission of creating hope and building peace.

Each of these projects was selected through a competitive review process and demonstrates the creativity, collaboration, and commitment of our Rotary clubs to addressing important community needs.

Congratulations to our 2026-2027 Competitive Grant Recipients:

  • Buckhead: Springtime of Peace: An Easter Egg Hunt in Piedmont Park ... Bringing families together through an inclusive community Easter celebration that promotes peace, friendship, and service while creating joyful experiences for children of all backgrounds.

  • Meriwether County: Building Peace One Meal at a Time – A Rotary Partnership with the Huddle Youth Center ... Partnering with the center to provide meals, foster meaningful relationships, and create a safe, welcoming environment where young people can thrive while strengthening peace and understanding within the community.

  • Peachtree City: A Good Night's Sleep: Building Beds, Building Peace ... Providing children in need with safe, comfortable beds, helping improve their health, well-being, and ability to succeed in school by ensuring they have a place to sleep each night.

These seven projects represent a diverse range of community needs and demonstrate the dedication of Rotary clubs across District 6900 to making a positive difference. While this year's Competitive Grant funding was awarded to these seven initiatives, we recognize and appreciate the many outstanding proposals submitted by clubs throughout the district. Every application reflected Rotary's spirit of service, compassion, and commitment to improving our communities. We congratulate this year's grant recipients and thank all of our clubs for their continued dedication to Service Above Self.

We look forward to watching these projects come to life and celebrating the positive impact they will have throughout our communities.
