YEARS OF SERVICE
ROTARY CLUB OFTuesdays, 12:00 pm |
Welcome, 2026!The year ahead offers fresh opportunities to serve our communities, support one another, and live out Service Above Self. Each project, each act of kindness, and each moment of leadership contributes to the positive impact we create together. May we begin this New Year renewed in purpose, inspired to serve, and confident in what we can accomplish as Rotarians.

Next Meeting is January 13th at BrimstoneOur next meeting is January 13th at Brimstone. Our guest speakers have a special story to share with us. Our very own James Marosek, and his wife Van, will be sharing about their recent trip to Vietnam. Van is from Vietnam and left as a child (during the Vietnam War) on the next to last plane. She and James have long wanted to visit Vietnam and the trip was an emotional one for them. Please join us at our first meeting of 2026 to hear this story!
Membership Minute - New BeginningsSubmitted by Jeffrey Esterkes, Membership Chair A new year means new opportunities to grow Rotary. Let's start by inviting one fresh face to join us in service and fellowship.
MLK Day of Service at the CDAMembers, please get ready to roll up your sleeves to help us clean the classrooms at the CDA on Monday, January 19th from 10 am to 12 pm. We need 15 volunteers to help tackle this assignment. Keeping the classrooms clean is so important at the CDA. When a child gets sick, their parent must miss work to stay home with them and the loss of wages is very detrimental to their households. Please sign up on the link provided by the CDA: Clean the CDA Classrooms

Thanks to your generosity and the success of your teams, you pledged $7,053.60, twice the amount of our PolioPlus goal! You have already donated $3,578 to PolioPlus so please direct any additional donations to the Annual Fund. If you have been reading these updates, it will be no surprise that Jonathan has won bragging rights with $702.50 pledged for his Atlanta Falcons. As a result, the club will pay Jonathan 10% of the total pledged, or $705. Generosity has its rewards! For those of you who haven't paid your pledge, here is a link to the Foundation donation page: Donate here Please select Annual Fund for your donation. This fund is the source for District Grants. Half of all money donated by our District comes back to the District in three years. If you have any questions, contact Doug Higgins at (404) 401-2094 or doug@doughiggins.com.
