On Saturday, February 3, 2024, the remaining founding member of Rotary Club of North Fulton, Richard Matherly, took a polar plunge to raise money so Rotary Club of North Fulton could continue supporting the worthy organizations in our community. Fundraising was done via social media, e-mail, text and personal phone calls, with everyone in the club tasked with tapping their networks to raise funds. One member even turned her personal vehicle into a mobile fundraiser! On the day of the actual fundraiser, members of the club showed up to support Richard as he took the plunge for our club, followed by some pizza and fellowship.
