RRC's 10 Interact Clubs are comprised of 5 elementary school clubs, 2 middle school clubs and 3 high school clubs. As our elementary students transition to middle school and our middle school students transition to high school, Interact provides them a comfortable place where they can continue to grow in Service Above Self, enhance their leadership abilities and make a difference. Through Interact, Roswell Rotary continues to engage passionate leaders in our schools. Our Interact Clubs engaged over four hundred students, teachers and Rotarians and generated thousands of impressions for various projects in our community. All 10 of RRC's Interact Clubs were presented with zone awards during World Interact Week at a club meeting on November 6. In addition, 3 of our Interact Clubs were awarded Presidential Citations! These accomplishments are made possible through the leadership of the students, Interact Sponsors, Interact Liaisons and Roswell Rotarians. There were more than 100 service projects/events supported by our Interact Clubs too numerous to mention here. Some examples are: collecting for polio, environmental cleanup, visiting/assisting the elderly, collecting toys for the needy, packing supplies for troops abroad, participating in career day, and many others. See sample reports below describing the extent the Interact Clubs are involved and the many hours of support they receive from Roswell Rotarians. Through venues like parades, football games, interaction with parents and friends; exposure to Rotary is in the thousands of impressions.
